2026 GOALS — KEEPING IT SIMPLE

Every year I make these massive goal lists. Twelve bullet points, sub-bullets, color-coded spreadsheets. And every year by February, I’ve forgotten what half of them even were. So this year I’m trying something different.

Three things. That’s it.

One: stay consistent at the gym. Not “get shredded” or “hit some crazy number.” Just show up three to four times a week, every week. The gains come from consistency, not intensity. I know this. Time to actually live it.

Two: cook more at home. I eat out way too much. It’s fun, it’s social, but it’s also expensive and I’m not learning anything. I want to get actually good at a few cuisines. Korean, Thai, Japanese. Stock the pantry with the right stuff so cooking at home isn’t an event — it’s just Tuesday.

Three: say yes to more spontaneous plans. Last year I turned down so many “hey you wanna come?” texts because I was tired or comfortable on the couch. Some of my best memories came from plans I almost said no to. More of that energy in 2026.

Simple enough to remember. Simple enough to stick to. Let’s see how it goes.
